Mumbai Dharavi woke up in the early hours when a major fire broke out in Mumbai’s Dharavi. However, no reports of casualties or jury have been reported so far. Reportedly, the damage to the properties seems to be very grave.
According to PTI sources, the fire began around 4.15 am, in the Kamala Nagar and Shahu nagar localities, near the Dharavi fire station. Furthermore, it is stated that this part of Dharavi is largely populated by godowns and recycling units.
The operation to extinguish the fire is going on with 12 fire engines, eight water tankers and other fire brigade vehicles.
