L&T offers new offer to metro commuters in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The metro service has launched a ‘off-peak hours’ offer, with a 10% reduction on the notified fare that residents may use on Contactless Smart Cards (CSC) from 6.00AM to 8.00 AM and 8.00 PM to 11.00 PM.

Hyderabad Metro Rail has recently released a super saving offer (SSO-99) that is applicable for a year beginning from April 1, 2023, and ending on March 31, 2024.

Also, the super savings offer-59, which saw over 1.3 million trips and was well-liked by riders, will expire on March 31. But, from April 1st to March 31, 2024, L&TMRHL has created a new super savings offer-99.

Travelers may travel limitless times on 100 designated holidays for just Rs 99. The list of notified holidays for which the SSO-99 offer is valid is accessible online as well as at stations.

Managing director and CEO of L&T HMRL, KVB Reddy stated, “These offers are for the benefit of the passengers using the Hyderabad Metro Rail services. I believe these offers will further strengthen passenger commute with Hyderabad Metro Rail to facilitate both office commuters and the general public.” However, the company has also announced the withdrawal of the 10 per cent discount on the notified fare for the usage of contactless smart cards and digital QR tickets as follows: contactless smart cards – 8:01 hrs to 19:59 hrs; digital QR tickets – 6:00 hrs to 24:00 hrs.

Currently, Hyderabad Metro Rail is ferrying approximately 4.4 lakh passengers daily across 69kms and 57 stations in three corridors.
