Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao instructed officials to set up a control room in the secretariat immediately, so that the situation of floods can be monitored time to time.
In the wake of heavy rains and flood flow, the Godavari is rising steadily. Right not it has crossed 9 lakh cu. secs. Hence, The Chief Minister has instructed the Chief secretary to alert all the SP’s and Collectors of all the districts.
Reportedly, the control rooms have been arranged in the District Collector Office and Bhadrachalam Sub Collector Office. People can call control room for emergency services– 08744-241950 and 08743-232444.
