Great Indian Nautanki Company” is the name of a company which was given credit of corresponding of rupees by 3 banks. This came to light when IDBI Bank recently released a notification to sell a property of an NPA. This often happens in all the banks. But this particular notification caught the attention all the netizens and going viral on social media.

Ridiculous names

If we go into the details the defaulter of the loan is “Great Indian Nautanki Company Pvt. Ltd”. The guarantors of the company are namely “Great Indian Tamasha Company” and “Witchcraft International Entertainment Pvt Ltd”. Surprisingly, the directors of the Nautanki Company and Tamasha Company are same, Mr.Anumod Sharma and Mr. Sanjay Chowdary.

Blind banks

“Great Indian Tamasha Company” was an operating live entertainment, leisure and theatre destination- Kingdom of Dreams in Gurugram. According to the notice, the 3 banks, HDFC, IDBI and Bank of Baroda credited Rs 6.26 crore, 86.48 crore and 49.23 crore respectively, which totaled to Rs.146 crore with interests approximately.

Moreover, the lands that are going to be auctioned are of Kodagu District in the state of Karnataka. The sale will be taking place thirty days from date of notice publication.

Amazed Social media users

The social media users upon seeing the advertisement started commenting on the so called notice. Some commented that banks didn’t realize even on seeing the names of the company- “Nautanki” and “Tamasha”. While others commented on irony of the situation. Some comments even criticized banks on their rules while inspecting.

Mistakes repeated

The banks have witnessed many large NPAs in the names of Vijay Malya, Mohul Choksi and Neerav Modi. Another NPA which is as popularized is added . Whatever the case may be, the so called “Great India Nautanki Company” has outwitted the banks in to crediting the loan.

Netizens are posting sarcastic comments as banks didn’t even see the obvious even after observing the names. The notice is going viral and being re-posted on social media gaining more attention.
