Farmers Protest: A new farmer policy announced by the central government recently is reportedly more beneficial to the farmer. According to the new policy, the farmer is directly benefitted as the middlemen are eliminated. Though this policy is beneficial to the farmers yet the farmers of Punjab have been protesting against the policy and has landed on the road.

It is alleged that the leaders in Punjab, most of the people, especially the Akali Dal and the Congress leaders, have more contacts with the middlemen, that is why the Punjab Congress-Akali dal is provoking the farmers. As a result, some farmers protest have come on the road in their talk.

The small farmers of Punjab face lots of problems throughout their lives. They have to approach the middlemen to raise money while sowing, and then sell them at the same price. They are shedding tears throughout their lives, hence the central government has made an attempt to get rid of the middlemen.

The problem in India is that the farmers do not think of themselves. They want to remain slaves of middlemen and political leaders for life. Most of them might not have read the policy at all. They are just influenced by the leaders and middlemen who lure people with temporary incentives and other tips. Sadly, these people do not think about their future but get influenced easily for small incentives.

It is alleged by the ruling party that cheap politics are being carried on by middlemen and Congress-Akali Dal party workers. It is also observed that farmers who are seen on the Punjab Haryana border, are the farmers who are influenced and provoked by the middlemen and Congress-Akali Dal party workers, whereas the farmers who do not support the above said leaders are not protesting against the farmer bill. so farmers stared protest on roads.

Hence, the Punjab Kisan movement is alleged to be a political movement.
