Hyderabad soon to get Electric Double Decker

TSRTC will tender for this in a week. The company which wins will enter into an agreement. TSRTC will make all fare and route decisions and pay the firm a set rate. TSRTC started the process of recommence double-decker bus services again in Hyderabad but this time it is electric double-decker bus. They may run these on a hire basis.

Ten electric double-decker buses will be rented first and used on three distinct city routes. TSRTC officials are figuring out on the route. These routes are probably Patancheru-Koti, Jeedimetla-CBS and Afzalgunj-Mehdipatnam as they run on routes that are free of flyovers.
