One of the most famous and popular senior telugu film editor Gautham Raju 68 passed away on Tuesday. The news shook the entire industry and social media. He had been suffering from kidney related issue for some time. He breathed his last in a private hospital, Hyderabad, where he was admitted on the kidney related problem. Many celebrities expressed their condolence for his unfortunate death.
Career of editor Gautham Raju
Gautham Raju started his film career almost 40 years back. As a film editor his first movie was Nalugu Sthambalata in 1982. He had provided enormous and valuable services to the industry.
His success opened doors and got opportunities from multiple languages like Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada. He worked with superstars from various industries including Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth and many more. Son of India, Ramudu Anukoledu Janaki Kalaganaledu are his recent and last films. In his 40 years span, he worked for almost 800 films.

For the excellence in his film editing, Gautham Raju was awarded with 6 Nandi awards for films Srivariki Premalekha(1984), Mayuri(1985), Chandamama Rave(1987), Hai Hai Nayaka(1988), Bharatha Nari(1989), Aadi(2022).
