Contrary to other emotional tragic love stories, this one will be in the audiences’ hearts forever. Love for Sushant and his tragic death has definitely made people weep a little more.

Dil Bechara Review: The movie is based on a novel by John Green called “The fault in our stars”, ” Dil Bechara” the Bollywood version starts with a tribute to the fallen star Sushant Rajput. The mystery behind his untimely death had made people both furious and curious if it’s a suicide or a murder which led most of them to the OTT platform to witness this naturally talented star one last time onscreen.

Coming to the movie, it starts and ends with a tribute to Sushant Rajput, as his quirky character makes the audience fall in love with him all over again. In typical Bollywood style, the entrance of the hero leaves the audience with a huge “Wow”.

Unlike the Hollywood movie, these two actors Kizie (Sanjana Sanghi) and Immanuel ‘Manny’ Rajkumar Jr (Rajput) don’t meet at a cancer support group. Manny enters her life dancing, which makes Kizie irritated initially, but as she gets to know him more, she starts falling for him, which is the beginning of a cute and an emotional love story of these two cancer patients.

Needless to say, the movie sounds even more serene as the ‘Mozart of Madras’ A.R. Rahman adds his magical (Read musical) touch. I would rate the movie 4/5 because not just for the storyline or Sushant Rajput being in it but it has the best right from the actors’ portrayal, cinematography, music, and flow of the storyline, giving it a Bollywood tweak which is appreciated in every aspect.

Now people wish if Sushant would have been alive to see how successful this movie is turning out to be. The sweet romance of these two characters and the desire of being together till their last breath resonates with the audience much more on a deeper level.

On the whole, the movie is a simple mix of the best of all. Sanjana Sanghi the debutant actress gave her best, and Mukesh Chhabra the casting director turned Movie director making this his debut directorial venture, left people speechless with his brilliant take.

Last but not least, Sushant Rajput yet again gave an outstanding performance with his brilliant acting, making the audience smile and weep at the same time. It is saddening to see this as his last film and one just can’t believe the fact that he is no more.
