Delhi: Pregnant woman shot by neighbour over noise dispute, dies

In a tragic incident, a pregnant woman from Delhi, died after allegedly shot by her neighbour over noise dispute. The news is now going viral all over the media and internet. The incident took place at Siraspur, Delhi on April 3.

The 30-year old pregnant lady was identified as Ranju. Harish, the accused shot the lady after she objected to loud music being played at his house during a function.

Soon after this incident, the police received a call regarding the incident. Later the police filed FIR under Section 302 (murder).

According to eyewitness, Ranju walked out to her balcony during the function process and asked Harish, who lived across the street, to turn off the sound (media reports).

Following the issue raised by her, Harish then took a gun from Amit, who works at a mobile repair business, and shot at her, and Ranju was wounded by a bullet, according to an eyewitness.

According to police reports, the woman was immediately taken to the nearby hospital for better treatment. Despite the continuous efforts from doctors, she had died as a result of her injuries. Sadly, the doctors informed she had a miscarriage during the process.

Moreover, Harish and his companion Amit, whose pistol was used in the crime, have been detained, Delhi police added.
