Personal life

Deepika Padukone was  born on 5 January 1986. She is an Indian actress who mostly works in Hindi cinema. She is one of India’s highest-paid actresses. Padukone was born in Copenhagen and raised in Bangalore. She is the daughter of badminton player Prakash Padukone, while her mother, Ujjala is a travel agent. Anisha, her younger sister, is a golfer.

Padukone has stated that as a youngster, she was socially uncomfortable and did not have many friends. Padukone has worked as a child model, initially appearing in a few of commercials when she was eight years old. She changed her major in the tenth grade and opted to become a fashion model. She made her runway debut at Lakme Fashion Week in 2005.

Padukone established a romantic connection with co-star Ranbir Kapoor while filming Bachna Ae Haseeno in 2008. The pair married at Lake Como, Italy, in traditional Konkani and Sindhi rituals in November 2018.
