Cyberabad police arrested three cricket betting gangs, Seized Rs 1.84 crores

Cyberabad police arrested three gangs involved in organizing online cricket betting. Police on Wednesday raided Bandlaguda, Narsingi, and Shamshabad areas. The police seized Rs 1.84 crore cash, 3 laptop, and 36 mobile phones.

Ganapathi Reddy of Banglore and Srinivas Raju of East Godavari were organizing betting. Podapati Narsing Rao (31) of SR Nagar and a native of Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh, follow their instructions and he who was organizing cricket betting through mobile phone-based applications. 60 lakh rupees in cash were found by the police, while 32 lakh rupees in bank deposits were blocked.

Ravi Raju (45) and B Prasad Raju (40) and confiscated 71.50 lakh rupees in cash in addition to freezing 7.37 lakh rupees placed in various bank accounts. Through programmes for mobile phones, the pair managed betting.

Vinod Kumar (32), was running a cricket betting operation with Lingam alias Linga Raju of AP. He was detained by the police along with 17 mobile phones, other devices, and cash totaling Rs. 7.52 lakh.
