The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) is set to resume an anti-encroachment drive today at Shaheen Bagh. Shaheen Bagh was the center of the massive protest against the contentious citizenship law.
Earlier, the South Delhi Municipal Corporation had planned to demolish the encroached parts. However, they cancelled the drive due to the unavailability of adequate security force.
This morning, Delhi Police provided force at the site for the demolition drive.
