Former chief Minister of Karnataka, BS Yediyurappa’s grand daughter Soundarya hanged herself on Friday. She was 30 years old and a doctor by profession.
She got married to Dr. Neeraj, who works as a radiologist in the same hospital in 2018. They have a four-month old daughter.
It is said that on Friday, like any other normal day, Dr. Neeraj left home at around 8.00 AM to the hospital.
After two hours, the maid found the child crying and the mother wasn’t around. She knocked the door repeatedly, but to no avail. Then she called Dr. Neeraj. He called her on her phone but there was no response. The door was opened by force.
The body was shifted to Bowring Hospital for autopsy. It is said that Soundarya was taken to a private hospital as soon as her family arrived. However, it was too late by then, the doctors couldn’t do much.
It is said that Soundarya was suffering from post-pregnancy depression.
