The police detained BJP MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar in Jangaon district on Tuesday. The police stopped his protest against the alleged atrocities on BJP workers in the state. Earlier, Bandi Sanjay had called for a state-wide bandh on Tuesday.
Bandi Sanjay was participating in a protest in Station Ghanapur in Jangaon district. The police foiled his protest and shifted him to the police station to detain him.
Subsequently, the BJP workers blocked the vehicle in which the MP was being shifted to the police station. Moreover, they got into an altercation with the police personnel.
