Senior BJP leader Vinod Arya’s son, Pulkit Arya, has been arrested for the murder of a 19-year-old woman who worked as a receptionist at a resort he owns near Rishikesh, in Pauri district, Uttarakhand.

Pulkit Arya, son of ex-minister Vinod Arya, pretended to give a complaint about his staffer gone missing as the girl’s family did. He was actually trying to mislead the police. The girl went missing on Monday.

Surprisingly, BJP leader’s son had reported her missing on Monday. Her family also reported a missing complaint. According to the police, it later turned out he, along with two staff members, killed her.

According to ANI, The woman’s family had already been suspecting Pulkit Arya’s role as he was not helping them in the probe. As reported by ANI, the body was recovered from a canal. However, the relatives were called for identifying the body.

Since the accused’s father and brother belong to the ruling BJP party and RSS, the probe is going on at a snail’s pace.

However, the police tried to act swiftly and hence the news went viral on social media yesterday. It is alleged that the 19-year-old girl was being forced into prostitution. She was asked to satisfy the VIP guests of Pulkit Arya. When she refused to do as told, she was killed with the help of other two people who are also arrested.
