Bharat Jodo Yatra Day 20: Rahul Gandhi will interact with farmers from adjoining areas

Earlier in the day, Rahul Gandhi in his speech slammed the BJP government for favouring a few rich businessmen by waiving off their debts.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi resumed the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Malappuram on day 20. Hundreds of party leaders and workers accompanied him in the march. The Bharat Jodo Yatra started from Pulamanthole junction on Tuesday.

Last evening the march ended for the day on Monday at Kuppam in Palakkad district. Earlier in the day, Rahul Gandhi in his speech slammed the BJP government for favouring a few rich businessmen by waiving off their debts, while the same consideration was not being shown to the farmers, small traders and other businessmen.

But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep. Bharat Jodo Yatra starts in Malappuram today, to fulfill the promise we have made to India, Congress tweeted.

Jairam Ramesh,  AICC general secretary in charge communications tweeted, “Day 20 sees entry of #Bharat Jodo Yatra into Malappuram district over a beautifully decorated bridge. It’ll be a 14km walk this morning and in the afternoon @RahulGandhi will interact with farmers from adjoining areas. The weather is cool so far and the surroundings are picturesque.”
