We know Salman Khan for his attitude. He attended an award event recently where he expressed his value towards awards. He addressed the media at the film fare event on Wednesday. Salman Khan went on to tell what happened with him in an award event and how he doesn’t give a damn about awards from then, and how he used awards as ‘door stoppers’.
He went on to tell the story that “I owe thanks to the Film fare award.” I was supposed to receive an award. So I was told to attend the Film fare Awards, and I went with my entire family. When the nominees were revealed, I stood up and heard, “And the award goes to Jackie Shroff.” My father was very angry. That night, I was going to make my stage debut.
After that, I walked backstage and said, “This cannot happen.” “I stated that I don’t care.” The actor continued the narrative. “The person came in and said, ‘You know what I’m paying you for this performance,” he continued. ‘How much?’ I asked, and he gave me a figure. I told you it wouldn’t happen in this amount, and you better give me more. He continued boosting the price, and I ended up with a considerable sum – five times what I was promised. He then requested me not to tell anyone. I informed him that he was speaking to the wrong person.
However, when I saw Akki (Akshay Kumar) and Juhi (Chawla), I showed them the cheque and said, ‘apna bhi nikaal lo.” When a journalist asked him about death threats via letters, he confined his response to his upcoming film, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,’, he dropped the mic, and walked away.
