Asaduddin Owaisi gets Z category Security with Immediate Effect: Centre

Asaduddin Owaisi, MP and Chief of AIMIM, was attacked last night. Few shots were fired at his car while he was returning to Delhi after campaigning in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

The Centre decided to give Asaduddin Owaisi with Z category security by the CRPF. This decision is taken after reviewing last night’s attack, reports NDTV.

Asaduddin Owaisi, MP and Chief of AIMIM, was attacked

last night. Few shots were fired at his car while he was returning to Delhi after campaigning in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

The attack came to the notice of the police only when he posted it on Twitter. The police plunged into action immediately. According to the police, two people are arrested for firing at his convoy at Meerut’s Kithoudh area.

According to media reports, one of the accused is Sachin, a resident of Noida. Earlier, Sachin has an attempted murder case against him.

According to the Facebook Profile of Sachin, the police say that he claims to be holding a degree in law. Furthermore, he is a member of a Hindu right-wing organisation. However, the police is investigating the claims.

Another accused’s name is Shubham. Supposedly, Shubham is a farmer from Saharanpur. He does not have a criminal record.

While questioning, the two revealed that they were upset with the remarks made by the AIMIM leader and his brother, Akbaruddin Owaisi.

Meanwhile, the police recovered country made pistols from them and are in search of the people who sold them the weapons. The accused will be presented in the court.

Mr. Owaisi in his tweets showed the two bullet holes on his white SUV. Mr. Owaisi said that the third bullet allegedly hit a tyre. Hence, the MP left the area in another car, leaving the SUV on the spot.
