The woman took to Twitter and narrated her ordeal and that’s how this incident came to light.  The accused was identified as Amarpal Singh. Hui also shared the pictures of the bruises on her body. Zou tweeted, “How a foreign national is being treated in your city”

How it happened

According to Hui, a stray dog was running after her, when she went for a morning walk. In the meantime, the canine attacked another resident’s pet dog. As Hui was unable to help the scenario, she approached a guard identified as Avneet Bhatti.

A man approached from behind and attacked Hui. Allegedly, the man thrashed Hui over 10 times with a stick. Some of the residents and the guard Bhatti rescued the woman and helped her in approaching the police.
