NAVRATRI 2020 Schedule: Navratri is marked as the beginning of one of the most auspicious occasions in the Hindu calendar. It is celebrated during the Hindu calendar month of Ashvin, which usually falls in the Gregorian months of September and October. This year, the festival will be held from October 17-25, 2020.
Navratri is a Nine day long Hindu festival celebrated in almost every part of India. Hindus celebrate this festival with great devotion and love.
The festival is celebrated on the honor of divine Devi Durga.

The end of Navratri, or the tenth day, marks Dusshera. Dusshera is celebrated as the day Lord Rama defeated the demon, King Ravan, in Lanka, which is described in detail in the holy Hindu epic, Ramayana.
The tenth day is celebrated around the globe by setting extremely large “Ravanas” on fire, representing the conquering of good over evil. According to the epic, following this victory Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman as well as Lord Hanuman travelled back to their kingdom of Ayodhya.
Navratri is celebrated with lots of fun and frolic, but this festive season should be celebrated on a low key manner due to COVID-19 outbreak. It is suggested to organize health blood donation camps, keeping up with the efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19.
