Covid-19: 1,831 new cases registered in Telangana, 11 deaths on Monday

1,419 persons tested positive from areas under GHMC while another 160 tested positive from Rangareddy and 117 positive cases from Medchal districts In the last 24 hours.

Telangana State reported 1831 new Covid-19 positive cases and 11 fatalities on Monday, pushing the toll to 306 and the cumulative number of positive cases to 25,733. In the last 24 hours, 1419 persons have tested positive from areas under GHMC while another 160 tested positive from Rangareddy and 117 positive cases from Medchal district.

According to the health bulletin, the authorities on Monday discharged 2, 078 persons, which has taken the cumulative recoveries to 14, 781 while the number of active Covid-19 positive cases is at 10, 646.

Out of the 1831 positive cases in Telangana State, 1419 persons from Hyderabad have tested positive, 160 from Rangareddy, 117 from Medchal, 21 cases from Khammam, 20 cases each from Medak and Mancherial, nine cases each from Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Warangal Urban, Nizamabad and Peddapalli, seven from Vikarabad, six from Suryapet, five from Karimnagar, four from Jagtiyal, three cases from Sangareddy and one case each from Gadwal, Narayanpet, Yadadri and Mahabubabad.

The health department tested 6, 383 samples out of which 4, 552 tested negative while 1, 831 samples tested positive, in the last 24 hours. Telangana State has tested 1, 22, 218 samples out of which 96, 485 samples have tested negative and 25, 733 swab samples of individuals have tested positive, till now.
