The Indian Meteorological Department on Friday predicted heavy rains in the next four to five days in several regions of India.
According to the IMD advisory, weather conditions in various areas of India are predicted to bring heavy rainfall and some severe downpours till July 25.
Over the next two days, extremely heavy rainfall will continue over the Konkan, Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat. Meanwhile, a modest rain is expected to continue over the northeast and remaining parts of east India over the following four to five days.
Furthermore, Light to moderate fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy rain is expected over Kerala, Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, and Telangana for the next five days in South India.
