Elon musk names Linda Yaccarino as new Twitter CEO

Elon Musk on Friday finally named the new CEO of Twitter longtime media executive, Linda Yaccarino. Let us see more details about her.

According to the news sources, Yaccarino a 1985 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, is the leader of the Taskforce on the Future of Work at the World Economic Forum. She and her husband, Claude Madrazo, reside in Sea Cliff, New York. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1985. Matthew and Christian are their two kids.

Yaccarino has worked with NBCUniversal for almost 11 years; she began out there as a college intern. She had previously served as Turner Broadcasting’s executive vice president/chief operating officer for advertising sales, marketing, and acquisitions, which at the time included CNN.

According to her profile, NBCUniversal‘s ad sales team has established connections with several new media businesses, including Twitter as well as Apple News, Buzzfeed, Snapchat, and YouTube, and has produced $100 billion in ad sales since she arrived in 2011. She is in charge of a 2,000-person worldwide team at NBCUniversal.

Before that, she held a variety of roles at Turner Broadcasting System Inc. from 1996 to 2011, including executive vice president and chief operating officer. That was after she held management positions at several media sales outlets.

She made an appearance with Musk at a business conference for a session titled “Twitter 2.0: From Conversations to Partnerships.”
