This development of SC ordering Centre and States has come just a week after the apex court on May 28 ordered that states or the Centre should not charge any travel fare from migrant laborers.
The Supreme Court of India on Friday ordered the central and state governments to transport all migrants stranded across the country to their native places within the next 15 days.
The development comes just a week after the apex court on May 28 ordered that states or the Centre should not charge any travel fare from migrants labourers for their travel back native places.
In addition to that, the SC had also asked states to provide free meals and water to the migrants during their journey.
