Karnataka: A Manipal University professor suspended for allegedly calling a Muslim student in classroom, ‘a Terrorist’. The video went viral all over the media and shook the internet.

As per the words of University PRO head SP Kar, the university management has taken serious action against the professor and suspended him from the college. Shockingly, no one seems to support the student in this entire conversation.

According to The Siasat Daily, a professor from Manipal University calls a Muslim student in a classroom a “Terrorist”. The student in reply responded, ‘No! you can’t joke on my religion… that too in a terrible manner’.

Soon after realising his mistake, the professor tried to calm the student and said ‘You are like my kid’. In replay the student said ‘If my father did this to me, I would disown him’.

The professor also said, ‘It is a funny thing’. This made student more upset and he replied No sir, its not funny thing. 26/11 was not funny. Islamic terrorism is not funny. Being a Muslim in this country and facing all this every day is not funny.”

Furthermore the student said, “Will you call your own son by this.. ’a terrorist’? How can you call me like that? In front of so many people, in a class. You are a professor.”

Finally, the professor apologized to the student.  However, the student who is seems to be hurt says, “Sorry doesn’t change how you think or how you portray yourself here.”

Sadly, no student stood for the student in this entire conversation.
