Congress leader Rahul Gandhi started day 12 of Bharat Jodo Yatra. He held discussions with the fishermen in Alappuzha.
He interacted with the fishermen and listened to the issues face by them. He asked their problems in regard to fuel prices, dwindling fish stock, lack of social welfare policies and educational opportunities remain key challenges for them.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra on Monday started from Punnapra. Several congress leaders are accompanying Rahul Gandhi in the march which is around 16 KM. They would take a break and resume the march at 4.30 PM and walk for 9KM more.
The march would end at Mayithara near Cherthala.
