Third eye

The CCC has come into being due to the vision of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand called the centre the “third eye” of the city police. Moreover, it will serve as a platform for crisis management, disaster management, and other significant emergency situations.

Various Facilities

In addition to this, there is an emergency response management system to help people in distress. Added to that, the CCC consists of a war room and a centre of excellence for operations monitoring and increasing staff capacity.

The Commissioner said that representatives from various government departments with a public focus will be present at the centre to encourage effective interaction and cooperation between governmental organisations.

According to Deccan Chronicle, officials claim that the Telangana Police now use technology as one of their most important force multipliers in their fight against crime. The officials claimed that these facilities can only be found only Singapore and New York. This is unique in the country.

“The tower has different chambers for DGP M. Mahendar Reddy, Home minister Mahmood Ali and other officials. On the seventh floor, there is a war room where meetings may be convened. Moreover, the Chief Minister can review the flood situation, from the Centre itself” Anand said.

Other facilities

Tower C has a multi-agency room and an auditorium, while Tower D will house other departments and data centres.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that the offices of the traffic police and Central Zone DCP could be shifted to the existing police commissioner’s office in Basheerbagh.
