The Supreme Court on Wednesday, questioned the Uttar Pradesh government regarding its decision to allow ”Kanwar Yatra” in the state as there is a possibility of the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A notice of the same was issued to the state government and posted the matter for hearing on Friday. A bench headed by Justice R F Nariman issued the notice.
According to PTI, the Uttarakhand government cancelled the ‘Kanwar Yatra’ in view of a possible third wave.
