At least 6 people died and 28 injured in a massive fire break out on the 18th floor of Kamla building in Mumbai this morning.
According to the reports of NDTV, the massive fire started around 7 am on the 18th floor of Kamla building. This building is opposite Gandhi Hospital in Mumbai’s Tardeo area.
The footage from the scene showed the sky was filled with smoke and flames coming out from the building.
Meanwhile, talking to ANI, the Mumbai Mayor, said that “six elderly people needed oxygen support and were shifted to the hospital. The fire is under control but smoke is huge. All the people have been rescued”.
The fire brigade personnel and the police rushed to the spot. 13 fire engines and seven water jetties are used to fight the massive fire. However, the fire is tagged as a level-3 major fire.
