Two Omicron cases are reported from Tolichowki, Hyderabad. The GHMC alerted its administration to take up precautionary measures in the area.
Tow people, one from Kenya and another from Somalia, were tested positive for the Omicron virus. Since these people reside in Tolichowki, this area is declared as a containment zone. The authorities have imposed restrictions in the area and are treating it as a containment zone.
The administration which leaped into action took up series of measures in the area. Teams have also carried out COVID testing. It tested more than 150 residents in and around the area. They are also spraying disinfectants in the area.
