India’s Covid-19 tally pushed to 625,544 after 20,903 new cases

10,815,117 people have been infected with Covid-19 infections while 519,575 others have succumbed to the disease, globally.

In India, the number of infections has risen to 604, 641 including 226, 947 active cases. In Delhi, the Covid-19 infection tally mounted to 92,175.

The Covid-19 infections continued to rise in 40 United States out of 50, while the US President slammed China over the outbreak of the deadly disease.

The US on Thursday reported over 53,000 new cases of coronavirus, reported The Washington Post. With 10,109 new cases, Florida on Thursday (local time) recorded its biggest single-day hike.

Meanwhile, the Indian Council of Medical Research has selected 12 institutes for a clinical trial of the country’s first indigenous Covid-19 vaccine.
