Telangana: Harish Rao alerts people on surge in Covid cases

In the middle of a surge in Covid cases of a new variant in China and other countries, Telangana Health Minister Harish Rao encourage residents ‘Not to panic and to Stay alert’.

Harish Rao conducted a high-level review of Covid preparations via Zoom on Thursday. And stated that all positive samples will be sent to Gandhi Hospital for genetic testing, in accordance with the central government’s instructions. Passenger checking at the airport will also be revived.

In addition to this he added, there is no need to be concerned about Corona, but there is a need to be cautious. Everyone is advised to practice good personal hygiene. And those who have not received the Covid vaccine should do so immediately, as well as a booster dose.”

Further he added, We are prepared to stop the spread of Covid-19. People should not panic. We have already faced Covid-19 successfully and emerged as the best state in the country to do so. And he directed that medical officials monitor the situation closely and keep human resources, medicines, oxygen and ICU beds on hand in case of an emergency.

High-level review by Finance and Health Minister Harish Rao on Corona situation. It is advised not to worry about Corona and be cautious, everyone should observe personal hygiene and those who have not taken covid vaccine should take it immediately and take booster dose.
