The india pilots tested positive during the pre-flight Covid test which is carried out 72 hours before they are assigned flight duties.
Five pilots of the Air India have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, sources said on Sunday.
“Five Air India pilots have tested positive for coronavirus. It could be a case of faulty testing kits too as the pilots were tested one after the other.
Sources in the airlines further said that all the pilots who had taken cargo flights to China are asymptomatic and are based in Mumbai.
The five pilots fly Boeing 787 planes, had not operated any flight in the last three weeks.
