Bollywood Actor Rishi Kapoor Dies at 67, after a long battle with cancer

Actor Rishi Kapoor,  dies at 67 after a two-year-long battle with cancer. Rishi breathed his last at the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. Neetu Kapoor , his wife and actor Neetu Kapoor was by his side. His brother Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news.

Amitabh Bachchan confirmed the news on twitter. He tweeted

“He’s GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed !”

Rishi Kapoor was born in Bombay, he was the second son of  actor-film director Raj Kapoor and his wife Krishna Raj Kapoor.  He was also the grandson of actor Prithiviraj Kapoor.

He went to Campion School, Mumbai, Mumbai and Mayo College, Ajmer.

Rishi Kapoor played leading roles in 92 films between 1973 and 2000. 36 of them were box office hits. He died in the early hours of 30 April, 2020 in H.N Reliance Hospital. He had complications with cancer. After two years of long fight with cancer Rishi Kapoor dies at age of 67.
