Two days after an Instagram chat group discussing gang raping of schoolgirls was exposed by a South Delhi girl, the Delhi Police have finally taken Bois Locker Room scandal, student connected with the ‘horrible’ chat group into custody.
The disturbing Insta chat group has taken the internet by storm. After the news has come into limelight, the netizens have called for action against the group and the people running it.
More people connected with the students’ chat group called “Bois Locker Room” talking about gang raping girls and also morphing their pictures were identified by the Delhi Police.
After the outrage and talk of police action, the group which was active till Sunday has now been deactivated.
The student, who is the accused, has revealed the name of at least 20 more boys who were associated with the group.
Students from various South Delhi schools are said to be involved in the chat group. The cyber cell of Delhi Police has seized the mobile phone of the students for further investigation.
The cyber cell has also reported to Instagram which is a part of Facebook to share details of the group.
This issue has set off a storm on social media after a Delhi girl exposed the group. The screenshots of “Bois Locker Room” on Instagram and Twitter were shared by its users.
