‘Adavi donga’ movie eases rare surgery by doctors in Gandhi Hospital

‘Adavi donga’ movie helped Gandhi Hospital doctors to perform a rare brain surgery. The patient was suffering from a rare brain tumor. The doctors decided to perform awake brain surgery.

According to Telangana Today, the doctors in Gandhi Hospital, performed a rare brain surgery by showing her the Adavi donga movie of her favorite actor Chiranjeevi. They had to keep the patient awake during the surgery.

Earlier, the doctors asked her what she wants to watch on TV, she told them that she would like to watch any movie of her favorite actor Chiranjeevi.

A 60-year-old female patient is from Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. Moreover, she is an ardent fan of Chiranjeevi. Doctors diagnosed brain tumor few years ago.

Considering her case, the doctors decided to perform the surgery while she is awake. This is known as craniotomy. The doctors removed the tumor on Thursday.

After the surgery, the doctors spoke to the media and said that they are happy with the successful surgery. Giving details about the Awake craniotomy technique and how it helps in performing sensitive surgeries, the doctors at the Gandhi Hospital said that the woman also cooperated with them during the surgery and she did not trouble them.
