Former Chief Minister Mayawati has raised her voice against the gang rape. While,#shameonyouhathraspolice is trending on social media, when will PM Modi break his silence and stand up for this girl?

It’s heart-rending to even talk about this guilt-free woman who was just doing her daily chore, while she was engaged in her work,  four cruel men named SANDIP, RAVI, RAMU and LAVKUSH had a criminal thought against the young lady.

They gang raped her, tortured her and above all they cut her tongue. This incident took place in Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh on September 14.

She had been shifted to the Delhi hospital when she was in a critical condition, since then she had been in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Earlier, the woman was admitted to Aligarh’s JN Medical College hospital.

Today morning she breathed her last.

All the accused have been booked under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and later charged with gang-rape under Section 376 D, according to Hathras ASP Prakash Kumar.

The entire country is shaken by this horrific assault, we need to question ourselves if we are safe in our own country or not?

I wonder why these people carry such cruel thoughts against women?

Will there be any justice given by our judiciary for the victim?

Is there any right punishment for these criminals?

This is the right time for all brave woman to raise their voice and fight for everyone’s safety and dignity. At least now speedy justice should prevail.
