Dhirendra Prasad who is of an Indian origin and former employee in Apple is found guilty to defrauding a Cupertino-based company out of more than $20 million (140 crores). He could face 20 years in prison for betraying.

According to India Today, Prasad resorted to a variety of tricks, including taking bribes, inflating bills, stealing parts and making Apple pay for things he never received.

Apparently he wasn’t the only one who cheated on the company. Prasad was accompanied by two of his supporters who joined hands to try and pump off his Apple cash.

In the written agreement, who was working for more than a decade from 2008 to 2018 in Apple, was acting as a buyer for Apple’s global services supply chain. He revealed that he started cheating on the company in 2011.

Adding to that he intends to continue defrauding the company in 2018 the same year Apple lost about $17 million. He was accused of taking kickbacks, inflating bills, stealing parts, and making Apple pay for things he never received.

Prasad also revealed that he shipped the motherboards from Apple’s inventory to Don M. Baker’s company called CTrends. He made Apple pay a fake bill then he and Baker would later split the extra money they got from providing fake bills.
