Rail mishap occurred on Aurangabad-Nanded route. 14 people have died in a train accident. 2 people are injured. Mishap occurred at 5.15 am. 14 migrants were crushed by the train. It happened at Karmad village in Aurangabad.
According to initial reports, a goods train ran over migrant workers.
“An accident happened near Karmad, Aurangabad when an empty rake of goods wagon ran over some people. RPF and local police are reaching spot to assess the situation. More details awaited,” Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of South Central Railway (SCR) said.
