Influencer Gaurav Wasan, shot a video and shared it online. In the video he showed Prasad, who owns a tiny food stall named as baba ka Dhaba in South Delhi. In this video, Prasad tearfully speaks about the financial struggles he faced due to the lack of customers during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This video became so viral that not only people thronged to this tiny stall but also made this Dhaba owner famous.
Baba Ka Dhaba owner Prasad has now lodged a complaint on Influencer Gaurav Wasan, who shot the video and shared it online, and accused for “misappropriation of funds”, according to the police.
Prasad alleges that Wasan “shot his video and posted it online and convinced the public on social media to donate money to the eatery owner” but “intentionally and deliberately shared only his and his family/friends bank details and mobile numbers with the donors and collected a huge amount of donation through different mode of payments”.
