On Saturday, a group of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) youth leaders entered the metro train and started begging the passengers while explaining the situation that they are begging because of the lack of employment in the current Telangana government.
Protesters wear graduation robes and hold a bowl in their hands, for begging money in contrast to the state’s current unemployment situation
They raised the slogans “We are educated beggars, Please help us”.
The protesters entered the metro trains to begging from the passengers. Explaining that they are begging because of the lack of employment in the current Telangana government.
They also held placards which said- “I have fought for Telangana, but i am still unemployed”.
Vijith Varma, a Telangana BJP youth leader and a protester, said that, If anyone has benefited from a separate Telangana state, it’s the Kalvakuntla family. We beg KCR‘s family to see the need and assist the unemployed youth. We are suffering despite our education, and we are unable to show our faces at home.
Very soon, their act was criticized by other people and netizens. Many people thought the act was funny.
The state government has issued several job announcements in recent weeks, which have annoyed the BJP supporters.
Over 2,86,051 applicants are awaiting results from the recently completed Group 1 prelim examination, and more job notifications were released.
