There are 5,858 active Covid cases in the state as on June 24, Telangana crosses 10k mark on Wednesday.
A total of 891 Covid-19 positive cases that included 719 cases from areas under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits, and five fatalities were reported in Telangana on Wed.
In terms of number of cases, Hyderabad was followed by Rangareddy district with 86 new cases and Medchal with 55 cases.
As per the bulletin, a total of 4,069 samples were tested today of which 3,178 were negative while 891 came positive. With the new cases, the total number of Covid-19 positive cases in the State stood at 10,444.
On recovery, 137 patients were discharged today which has the number of discharged cases rising to 4,361. The number of active cases was 5,858.
