School field trips develop a student’s way of thinking and interaction with world. Furthermore, it triggers the development of one’s mind. What made you to be who you are today? There might be something that helped you to make a decision. The curiosity you faced during your school life led you to come to where you are today.

A force is required to feed that curiosity. What is it that helped you to stand here today? A group discussion? A motivational speech? or may be a field trip?

Most people asked this question themselves at one time or the other. An experience a student faces contributes to their understanding of the world.

Experiencing a lesson outdoors is equally important to students as in classrooms. Both indoor and outdoor activities will make them well prepared for their future. So, field trips contribute a major part in educating students well-rounded.

Interaction with real world

Students come in contact with real world rather than the world taught in books. This makes them well prepared for the future that lies ahead. They can visually learn what they were taught in classroom. This helps them have direct impact with the world they live in. They try to solve real world problems. So, they can shape their own selves.

Social Behavior

Students get to meet different people on field trips. They join different social environment and interact with adults and possibly with other children. Subsequently, they have to behave differently with different settings. This helps them improve their social behavior.

Critical thinking skills

Going on a field trip help students grow empathically. It enhances their critical thinking skills. In addition, they will try out different kinds of perceptions for a topic. It helps them to broaden their horizons

Sharing

Students get excited in sharing their observations. Additionally, they will be engaged to content in variety of ways. It helps the students to connect, appreciate and understand classroom concepts.

Teacher should embrace for all possibilities

Experience of a person depends on his interests, time and motivation. Field trips offer the opportunity to motivate. Everything has its ups and downs. A quality field trip requires preparation. Experience should be planned. Trip is planned in a way that all students should be able to participate.

All schools should take an oath

All schools are focused on standardized classes. Naturally, making field trips less possible. Moreover, there is limited available time. Schools should take a note that fieldtrips stimulate interest in learning. They should also understand that field trips changes attitude of a student towards learning.
