According to a survey on online classes and the percentage of students able to access it has revealed that 39.6 per cent of school-going children’s families do not have smartphones, while 48.9 per cent of families have only one smartphone in their house.
Students studying in government schools are not having access to smart phones for online classes.
Moreover, the families were reluctant to spare phones for their children’s online classes.
Only 22 per cent of families are ready to give their phones to their children for online classes, but half of them are not having sufficient data that can be used for online classes.
